In this Chapter, Jones revisits the founding principles of Performative Social Science by returning to one of his early outputs, “The One About Princess Margaret” and its many transformations and manifestations over the years. By means of this example, Jones is able to present some of the lessons learnt from over a decade of producing performative outputs, including returning to this early production and experimenting with various means of production and dissemination. The concept of returning to and reworking earlier themes and motifs, more familiar, perhaps, in the arts, is transported to the social sciences through such creative manipulations.
