Abstract:

Using findings and the general structure from a descriptive phenomenological study concerning the phenomenon midwifery intuition, an embodied interpretative phase was crafted. the findings revealed midwifery intuition is a complex phenomenon and consisted of a range of perceiving, utilising and developing knowledge. An interpretive stage presents the findings in a poetic evocative way. This is entiled 'the midwife's journey'.
