Research

Clive is currently a lecturer and Programme Leader of Music Production at Bournemouth University and formerly a music producer at the Institute of Contemporary Interdisciplinary Art (University of Bath). He studied ethnomusicology at the University of Birmingham, where his doctoral research focused on songwriting and recording practices and technologies. His earlier musical studies, in guitar performance and composition, were undertaken at Bath Spa University (BA 1994) and Middlesex University (MA 2002).
