Research

My current research revolves around the areas of energy economics, financial economics, macro-finance modelling, business cycles and tourism economics. In particular, I am interested in the effects of oil prices shocks in the economy, the stock market and the tourism sector. I am also interested in the propagation and transmission mechanisms among macroeconomic, financial and/or tourism variables. My research also focuses on the time-varying relationships among the oil sector, stock markets and the macro economy.
