Karen qualified as a registered nurse (adult) in 1978 having a range of clinical experiences. Karen first linked with Bournemouth University as a Lecturer Practitioner a joint appointment with Bournemouth and Christchurch NHS Trust


My PhD focuses on practice assessment The aim of the study is to gain a deeper understanding of the assessment experience in nursing from both the students’ and mentors’ perspective within the context of the clinical setting.
