Liisa Rohumaa is Senior Practice Fellow in News Journalism at Bournemouth University. She teaches on the BA and MA journalism programmes at the Faculty of Media and Communication. Research interests include online communication, news journalism, investigative reporting and historical memory narratives.

Liisa was formerly news editor of before joining the university as its first Online Journalist in Residence in 2006. She started her career in journalism on local newspapers and has also worked for The Daily Telegraph, BBC magazines and The Stage newspaper.
