Biography

Mariam Vahdaninia is a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Nursing & Clinical Science, Faculty of Health and Social Sciences, Bournemouth University. She has obtained an MSc in Epidemiology and been awarded PhD in Health Sciences. Her methodological expertise is in quantitative analysis, systematic reviews and meta-analysis in addition to study design and methodology. She is consulted as a reviewer to conduct peer-review of manuscripts on a regular basis.

Prior to completing her higher education studies, she has been working as a researcher in epidemiological, public health and population health studies, with over 10 years experience in conducting health research projects. She started her research career in population and women’s health studies as a graduate Midwife (BSc honours) who practiced in this field for a year and then became interested in pursuing research.
