Abstract:

Bournemouth University celebrated the career of Professor Paul Lewis, who is retiring from academia this autumn (Oct 2011). Paul has been leading midwifery education at Bournemouth University since 1995. He has been an inspirational academic leader to the lecturers he has managed by giving opportunities for individual professional development and leading by example.
