Abstract:In this chapter we illustrate how we embedded our knowledge and expertise in transformative online pedagogies in three areas: the design and delivery of a fully online PGCert; mapping teamwork and digital skill enhancements across the nursing curricula; and the development of a faculty simulation event. This change from in-person learning to fully online distance learning was predicated on the embedding of digital tools and extended pedagogical skills by staff and learners. The realignment of interest in and commitment to the digital flowed forward from health educators who undertook this online programme, and the impact can be seen in the embedding of digital skills in the nursing programme. The transprofessional networks and creative thinking enabled by the online PGCert support the interprofessional emergency simulation event run by paramedic colleagues.
