Abstract:Evaluation of the VFX Core Skills Handbook and other resources such as the Assets and the VFX Funding Programme. It was a series of Creative Skillset funded initiatives (which included the VFX Core Skills Handbook) that aimed to address skills gaps in new VFX entrants. These have included masterclasses, online mentoring, increasing take up of industry standard software, training for tutors and bursaries for students to attend FMX/Annecy. Contribution to planning for the next stage in HE support and advising from to help to inform Creative Skill set strategy.
