Abstract:Software models are used to capture knowledge about some domain (aka problem space). In order to be useful, models should focus on a particular domain and should not be mixed up with information from other domains. For instance, a model defining how bank transfers work should be focused on the business (banking) domain and should not contain technological concepts (required for implementing bank transfers in software).
