On chip quantum dot based phosphor for efficient and tunable color conversion

Abstract:CdSxSe1-x/ZnS (core/shell) quantum dots were used in combination with band-pass filters to convert blue light emitted from InGaN/GaN LEDs to different wavelengths. We present results to show this approach is a promising way of achieving tunable color conversion.
