Abstract:The bespoke discourse analysis web application / tool (which is located at: http://trigg.gr/) has been created to track usage of the ‘woke’ keyword. The project has a cognitive linguistics impetus; seeking to characterise the common expression socio-culturally, in terms of Erving Goffman's 'frame elements' (1974) as a marker of symbolic interaction and social-conservative identity production and expression.
