Biography

Jiahong's research interests mainly lie in empirical labour and development economics, with a special interest in migration and trade. She is also interested in cultural norms such as gender preference. Currently, she has three lines of research: 1) the impact of internal migration on economic development; 2) the labour market effects of international trade; and 3) the influence of culture on gender preferences.
