Abstract:

In this article the authors discuss stakeholders and their management in higher education, taking the case of University of Portsmouth in Portsmouth, England. They state that understanding how different stakeholder groups differ in their importance is a vital issue. They say that government policy is a predominant factor affecting prioritization over time. They found student recruitment, financial implications, and strategic decision making to be the key factors influencing stakeholders.
