Abstract:Editorial. Editors and publishing: integrity, trust and faith. The article focuses on the role of journal editors on preventing unethical actions of authors. Unethical practices include plagiarism, duplicate submission, unprofessional conduct, and redundant publication. The peer review process is able to detect some of these but not all. It should be realized that the peer review process, editorship and authorship are complicated gray areas and necessitates trust in the integrity of the editor, the editorial board and the team of reviewers.
