Biography
I graduated from the University of Portsmouth in 2013 with a Ba Illustration (Hons). Alongside my studies I completed a foundation course in Art Psychotherapy and the British Association of Art Therapists. Exploring the application of the therapeutic qualities of creative arts within healthcare only further highlighted my lifelong interest in midwifery. I graduated from Bournemouth University in 2021 with a BSc Midwifery (Hons). I completed my preceptorship training within a London hospital which provided me with experience in a variety of clinical settings.
In 2024 I completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Practice Education Bournemouth University achieving the status of Advanced HE Fellow (FHEA). My postgraduate work was influenced by my previous art studies as well as an emerging interest in developing practical teaching methods.
