Abstract:Interim report of work on the site of a medieval garden at Clifton Maybank, near Sherborne, Dorset. Specialist geophysical survey (earth resistance) has revealed a palimpsest of features within the area of the former garden, including ditches and a possible turf bench in the form of an exedra.
