Hello! I am a Children's and Young Peoples Nurse and I joined the Nursing Simulated Practice Team here at BU in 2024.

Alongside this role, I am a practicing children's nurse in a local NHS hospital.

I studied my BSc (Hons) in Children's Nursing in London in 2018. My newly-qualified post was at Bristol Royal Hospital for Children's Emergency Dept. where I gained 3 years of experience and various qualifications in Children's Emergency Care and Trauma including the Children & Young People's Emergency Care Course at UWE.

Following the COVID19 pandemic, I moved back to Dorset and since gained experience in inpatient general paediatrics, paediatric assessment units, combined A&Es and SCBU. I have recently completed the Thames Valley & Wessex Paediatric Critical Care Course as part of my NHS role.

Since working with BU I have started my PGCE in Higher Education and hoping to finish in 2026 with Fellowship of Advance HE.
