Biography

I am a post graduate researcher within the School of Tourism and School of Health and Social Care. My PhD will explore parental readiness to change and parental engagement with health professionals and child weight management services to achieve a healthy weight for their child. My educational achievements include attaining a first class honours degree in BSc Sport and Exercise Science and a distinction award in MSc Nutrition, Physical Activity and Public Health.

I currently work for Public Health Dorset as a senior public health programme advisor, managing the early intervention team. The focus of the team relates to early years and school aged early intervention and prevention services across a range of public health programmes.
