Dates: 20-22 February 2008

Abstract:

My current research project is a study of organising/strategising in small online retailers in the South of England. I focus on the development, deployment, and maintenance of organising competence in the course of e-commerce adoption, as an episode of innovation and entrepreneurship. I draw on actor-network theory and Heideggerian phenomenology in order to study the performances that constitute the firm. This study therefore is concerned with the development of an account of heterogeneous actors engaged in the performance of an on-going construction of reality, by which I mean strategy as practice.
