Abstract:

An enteral feeding tube is a medical device which is used to provide nutrition to people who cannot obtain nutrition by mouth, are unable to swallow safely, or need nutritional supplementation. Many people living at home have a tube long-term and the use of the tubes is increasing. This short film describes the experience of living with an enteral tube day to day and draws on recently published research findings.
