Abstract:Texture-mapping a triangular or rectangular surface is easy to perform. However it is not so for irregular surfaces (n-sided surfaces where n > 4) due to lack of proper global parameters. In this paper we propose a mapping function capable of texturing an irregular surface based on the modelling expression of Zheng-Ball n-sided surfaces.
