Biography

Dr Erica Fletcher is a Postdoctoral Research Assistant at Bournemouth University Business School specialising in People and Workforce projects. With a keen interest in qualitative methodologies, Erica’s interdisciplinary research focuses on lived experiences, and the social and cultural dynamics of communities and organisations.

Erica completed her doctoral research on community experience, organisation, and dynamics within the creative industry, researching the London spoken word poetry scene. Prior to joining Bournemouth University, Erica had also spent time working at a policy think tank that focused on the future of work and economic planning, with a particular interest in gender and the gig economy. Additionally, her previous experience as a logistics coordinator at a FTSE 100 company provided insights into organisational operations and management.

Her work at Bournemouth University includes delivering evaluation projects, such as the assessment of training programmes and change initiatives within a local NHS trust.
