Biography

I am a qualitative researcher with research interests on online sex work, performativity of gender, and misogyny online.

My PhD research is based on the relationship between domestic space and sexual performance, focusing on the construction of the environments in which online webcam performers are in. By using innovative methodologies, such as netnography and object analysis not fully utilised in criminology, I unpack the notion of ‘constructed authenticity’ within online space.
