Abstract:This film is based on findings from a synthesis of qualitative research exploring the experience of living with osteoarthritis. The script is based on people’s own words applying a method of verbatim filmmaking developed by Trevor Hearing. The synthesis included 118 reports of more than 2, 000 people living with osteoarthritis and adapted into a narrative account based on collaboration with Oxford University Health Trust (‘A qualitative evidence synthesis using meta-ethnography to understand the experience of living with osteoarthritis pain’ by Francine Toye , Kate Seers, Karen Barker)
