Biography
Grace Ebi Ogbole is a PhD student at Bournemouth University, Faculty of Media and Communications in the Department of Communication and Journalism.
She has two degrees in Mass Communication. An M.A and a B.Sc. (Hons) from the University of Nigeria Nsukka and the Benue state University respectively; and a PGD in Education which qualified her to be a member of the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN).
Her research areas of interest include health communication, media effects, cultural and national identities/communications in a global context, amongst others.
Grace’s article on Breast Cancer Campaigns among Women in Benue State: When Knowledge does not translate to Practice, has appeared in an Intl. Journal of Media, Security and Development. Vol 1 no. 1 2014
She is currently working on News media use by diasporic communities in the UK in Public Health Crises as PhD thesis
