Abstract:The exciting new creative possibilities that come with combining digital techniques and workflows such as 3D scanning, interactive lighting, virtual production and digital fabrication open the door to new ways of visualising, making and displaying art objects. This talk showcases a selection of projects, including co-created with current computer animation and visual effects students, where digital technologies have enabled new, fluid ways of practice allowing artists to jump across the real and virtual realms.
