Abstract:

An excavation at New Park Street, Devizes, revealed a sequence of three buildings. No firm dating evidence was found for the earliest structure which may have been built in the 15th century. The later buildings are attributed to the early 17th and mid 18th centuries. A number of post-medieval features, including a well and an icehouse were also examined.
