Abstract:

eGovernment is seen as having a key part to play in the modernisation of public services, widening participation and reducing social exclusion. However, active and effective engagement is a prerequisite for success if these aims are to be achieved. This paper draws on data from a study conducted in North Cornwall in order to examine the key issue of engagement. © Springer Science+Business Media, Inc. 2006.
