Abstract:Twitter is a platform that allows a freedom for the educator to access CPD, network and engage in at a time of their own choice. The possibilities are endless in what forms of engagement and commitment the educator takes. Although Lave and Wenger’s original ideas for a community of practice back in 1991 could not have foreseen the technological advances that online platforms would have made, we are strong advocates that VCoPs do exist (Delgado et al. 2021).
