Abstract:

It is an inevitable trend for smart manufacturing to move towards autonomy, but this does not mean that humans are excluded from the manufacturing system, and human-centric design of autonomous manufacturing is still needed. From the perspective of system science, based on the analysis of human-machine interaction and Industry 4.0 autonomy, the basic structure and element interactions, human roles and reference architecture of the autonomous smart manufacturing system with social-cyber-physical interaction were discussed, and the concepts of human-in-the-loop, human-on-the-loop and human-out-of-the-loop were placed respectively in the physical space, cyber space and social space of the wisdom manufacturing. As a result, a trinity autonomous social-cyber-physical production system was formed. The make-to-order production scheduling problem driven by hybrid artificial intelligence methods was taken as an example to illustrate the operation of this system.
