Abstract:The Editor in Chief and the Publisher have retracted this review article over concerns around its methodology and data. These concerns include the retrospective registration of the protocol without a deviations-from-protocol section despite there being deviations, absence of clarity regarding each study’s contribution to the results, misclassification of studies designs, and application of the eligibility criteria. The authors provided explanations and confirmed that 10 studies did not meet their eligibility criteria. As a result, the Editors lost confidence in the methodological rigor of the review. The authors do not agree to this retraction.
