Abstract:

The aim of this portfolio is to offer a process model as new knowledge that can be assimilated into a revised directing acting skill pedagogies and offer a revisionist approach to a model of social cognition; which is widely embedded into the existing media production literature as classical cognitivism, rather than embracing recent developments in cognition as essentially embodied, enacted, embedded and extended.

The portfolio offers links to a finished 12' short fiction film as a finished artefact together with behind-the-scenes material that functions as observational recordings of the directing acting process.
