I am currently a PhD Researcher. I joined Bournemouth University in 2012, having gained an MSc in Psychological Research Methods at Birkbeck, University of London in 2011, and a BSc (Hons) Psychology with the Open University in 2008.

My background experience includes senior management roles in fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) marketing organizations (Imperial Tobacco, and Tambrands) in the UK, US, and Europe from 1969 to 1986. In 1986 I co-founded, part-owned and as Executive Vice President ran Benchmark Inc., a corporate and packaging design company, with offices in New York, NY, Cincinnati, OH, and Santa Rosa, CA. From 1990 I ran a business consultancy in the UK: main clients included ICI Autocolor (setting up a sales force across 5 European markets), Prudential (market research for Cwmbran Shopping Centre), and ABC Direct (company doctor, interim MD).
