Biography

Rayan Alyusufi is a PhD student working on soft power and public diplomacy. He did his bachelor's degree in Mass Communication at King Saud University and his master's degree in International Communication at St. John's University, New York.

Thesis title: Soft Power in the Context of the Middle East: Practice, Potential, Limitations and Relevance to Postcolonialism (tentative)

Alyusufi’s research interests include decoloniality, soft power and public diplomacy.
