Biography
PhD researcher in media and communication specialising in health communication, misinformation, and digital media environments. My research examines how individuals encounter, appraise, and respond to health-related information online, with a particular focus on digital health literacy, risk perception, and trust. It explores the cognitive, emotional, and behavioural mechanisms shaping how people make sense of and act upon information in complex digital environments. This doctoral research in health communication and misinformation is supported by a fully funded scholarship awarded by the Turkish Government.
