Biography

I am an interdisciplinary researcher and Harvard-trained bioethicist with expertise spanning mental health and wellbeing, embodiment, qualitative research, research ethics and clinical research. I hold a PhD in Interdisciplinary Studies from Bournemouth University and a Master of Bioethics from Harvard Medical School.

My doctoral research, undertaken in collaboration with Stormbreak CIO, explored primary school teachers' embodied experiences of implementing movement-based mental health interventions. This research contributed to the All-Party Parliamentary Group's Mental Health Through Movement report and wider policy discussions on children's wellbeing.

I subsequently completed an ESRC-funded Postdoctoral Research Fellowship through the South West Doctoral Training Partnership's Health, Wellbeing and Society pathway, extending my research into whole-school wellbeing, teachers' lived experiences and the psychosocial and ethical dimensions of mental health promotion.
