Biography

Having graduated from School of Medicine from University of Leeds, Mihye went on to higher specialist training and received a certificate of completion of training in Medical Microbiology and virology. Mihye is currently a lecturer in biomedical science (since 2024) as well as a consultant Medical Microbiologist at University Hospitals Dorset NHS Foundation Trust (since 2014).

She has been the Wessex regional Training Programme Director for Infectious disease and Medical Microbiology training programme. She has also been a Foundation Programme Director for UHD from 2018 till present. Mihye has research interests in infections, especially in infective endocarditis and renal fungal ball infections.
