SoundscapeCompositionworkshopsexplorethepotentialofsoundthrough honing‘activelistening’andnon-verbal,‘acousmaticstorytelling’skills.Inapplicationof theFAM-Strategy(seeseparateposter),activitiesaimtostrengtheningcreative,critical, reflectiveandempathetic,sensoryandcognitiveskillsasbasis–here-forbuilding resilienceagainstcriminalexploitationrisksandimaginingfuturesawayfromsuch risks.CreatingSoundscapesencouragesanexplorationofparticipants’socialandnatural environmentsthroughsoundasbasisforaudio-basedstorytelling.Suchexplorationsmay crosssocialspacesandsymbolicboundarieswhichdemarcatesocietaldivisionsalongan offeringoftasks(FAM-Strategy)basedon‘guidingthemes’previouslyidentifiedto underpinexploitationrisks(seeFGD-poster).Theworkshopsfurthermoreimpart transferrable,digitalandaudiotechnologicalskills.
