Biography

Rajib joined Bournemouth University Business School in January 2024 as a Lecturer in Accounting and Finance. Before joining Bournemouth University, he taught at the Business School for the Creative Industries at the University for the Creative Arts (UCA). Rajib is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) and an active researcher in the field of finance, particularly interested in financial markets and institutions.

Before moving to academia, Rajib spent over 12 years in the financial industry, working for credit rating companies, non-bank financial institutions, investment banks and brokerage houses. During his long tenure in the financial industry, he was trained extensively in financial reporting, stock market operations, technical analysis, initial public offerings, risk management, and mergers & acquisitions.
