Biography

Vero is a Lecturer in Adult nursing at Bournemouth University. She is an experienced registered nurse who joined Bournemouth University in February 2022.

Vero has worked both in the UK and Spain, where she was trained. She has varied experience as a laboratory technician, sports and neurologic physiotherapist and as a nurse she has worked in bone marrow transplant and haematology units, in vitro fecundation and she worked as a Theatre Practitioner during 5 years before joining BU.

Vero completed her undergraduate studies: Physiotherapy Degree (2005) and Nursing Degree (2008) in Spain. After that, she studied a Postgraduate Certificate in Emergency (2010), Postgraduate Certificate in Structural Osteopathy for physiotherapists (2013), Masters Degree in Legal and Forensic Nursing (2018). She has since completed her Masters Degree in Nursing Special Care in A & E, critical care and post-anaesthesia (2023), a post graduate certificate in education (PGCE) in Bournemouth University (2023) and attained fellowship higher education authority (FHEA)...
