Biography
I have been at Bournemouth University since October 2012 as part of the team of University Practice Learning Advisors. I studied my original nursing diploma at Bournemouth University and post qualification my nursing experience started in acute surgery, specialising in colo-rectal and lower GI. I followed this a few years later by undertaking my Specialist Practitioner (community nursing in the home-District Nursing) Degree at Southampton University, which enabled me to follow my love for community nursing and work as a district nursing sister. My interest in education came in the role of Practice Educator within a large community trust, which i enjoyed for several years before joining the team at Bournemouth University.
