Biography

Khurshid’s research interests and thought leadership includes: First, Khurshid’s intellectual contributions focus on examining the transition economies of Europe and the former Soviet Union (FSU). His recent research studies explore the performance effects of banks’ strategies (including those of corporate social responsibility).

Second, Khurshid successfully completed impactful international projects focusing on the performance effects of corporate social responsibility in the banking sector of transition countries. This includes “CSR in the banking sectors of transition countries” (supported by the Alumni Outreach Grant, US Department of State, 2017) and “Institutions, Regulations and Performance” (BU Fusion fund, 2018).

Expertise related to UN Sustainable Development Goals

In 2015, UN member states agreed to 17 global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to end poverty, protect the planet and ensure prosperity for all. This person's work contributes towards the following SDGs:
