Research

My research interest is in – (a) artificial intelligence; (b) machine learning; (c) soft computing methods; (d) grammatical inference algorithms; (e) AI based web application development; (f) deep learning; (g) language processing; (h) formal language theory; (i) software engineering and modelling; (j) neurobiology; (k) search and optimization algorithms; and (l) algorithm design and analysis etc.

As a postdoc research fellow, I worked for H2020-DREAM4CAR project where I learned how to manage a research project independently and in a team environment. I utilize my research learning to supervise PhD students; supervise MRes; writing quality research articles; collaborate with colleagues internally and externally; and writing research proposal in collaboration with others.

I would like to collaborate with colleagues across the globe for research publications and joint project submission for funding. I also like to collaborate with other department for multidisciplinary research projects. I have published research articles in top Journals which includes the following: IEEE Transactions, ACM Transactions, Elsevier Journals, and Springer Journals. I have played leading role in various research activities. Some of the notable activities are: Leading guest editors for top computer science and engineering journals; Keynote speakers for international conferences; Invited speaker for workshops; invited speaker for faculty development programs; session chair in International Conferences and editor for International Conference proceedings.
