Biography

Andy joined Bournemouth University in 2020 to complete a Masters by Research, developing innovative measurement techniques for spinal stiffness. In 2022 he converted this to study towards a PhD in the same topic and joined the Department of Rehabilitation and Sport Sciences at BU as a Lecturer in Sport Therapy and Physiotherapy. With a background in mechanical engineering before retraining as a physiotherapist, Andy’s research focuses on integrating engineering principles into the field of musculoskeletal therapy.
