Biography

As a child in Trinidad I'd run away from home to visit my friends nearby, who would tell me wonderful tales from the Ramayana, feed me roti and treat my hair with coconut oil. To this day, I'm fascinated by communication and storytelling, a big fan of world systems research and human rights, and have great hair.

I teach anthropology, globalisation, qualitative research methodology, criminology and international policy and intervention seminars, and have extensive tropical rainforest and urban experience. My PhD research will encompass Caribbean music, communications and anthropology.
