Research

Arkadiusz’s research interests focus on the intersection of marketing, revenue management, and the application of artificial intelligence (AI) in the business, mainly the service industry. His PhD research explored how personalised experiences, co-created with customers, influence their financial engagement with services. This study employed a mixed-methods approach, combining Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis and K-means cluster analysis to offer a holistic view of consumer behaviour and willingness to pay. The findings contribute to the literature by highlighting how these strategies can significantly impact customer engagement and financial outcomes. His notable publications include articles in the Journal of Business Research and contributions to the Encyclopaedia of Tourism Management and Marketing.

Arkadiusz’s research explores AI’s application to enhance personalised pricing strategies further. He aims to uncover how AI can enhance the personalisation process within revenue management, considering both the transformative potential and ethical implications of using consumer data.

Arkadiusz’s current research plan explores AI-driven personalisation’s implementation and ethical dimensions, aiming to balance personalisation with privacy in business practices. The goal is to contribute to sustainable and ethical revenue management practices in the service industry.

The main areas of research interest are Revenue Management, Pricing, Personalisation, Value co-creation, Customer behaviour, and Marketing.
